...Well, alright, you'll get a little more explanation.
This fluffy beastie is named Dinah, and belongs to Yvette 'Ivy' Devon. If you've seen half the sheaningans Ivy's been up to on her tumblr askblog, you might notice she has an obsession for cuddling things.
Well you can all hold this cuddlemonster responsible. Dinah is probably the friendliest little floofball you'll ever meet - mild-mannered, sweet and very huggable - she taught Ivy that Pokemon aren't feral war machines, and they need love just like anyone else.
Dinah's death was one of the reasons Ivy decided to leave home (there wasn't much 'holding her back' anymore).
Most of the time Ivy's cuddling, smothering, petting or otherwise showering a mon with affection, she's trying to let Dinah 'live' again through that gesture, if only for a little while.

Delcattys are adorable, but incredibly biologically impossible. What with their funny 'stamen' things coming out of their neck. xD Since Ivy's an aviation mechanic, turning them into ornamental feathers (like the ones on peacocks and secretary birds) made a lot more sense.
Ha! I was scrolling through this group then suddenly I noticed this and went "OMG I'd recognize that style anywhere!" (I read your Burning Bridges Nuzlocke comic )
Awesome job! Nice idea with the feathers, somehow they just seem to fit.
This is the only time I've thought that a delcatty is actually pretty and not derpy looking. I love the whiskers/whatever the things coming from her neck ruff are called. The feather like tail is awesome too.

P.S. -I also have a Delcatty in my Emerald Nuzlocke. She's so adorable!
And is sooo adorable!
