Before we go on, let's make this clear: No, this is not a GaryxOC comic. Dear good lord, I've had enough of those.

Anyone who complains about N being Edward Cullen obviously doesn't know how many OCs ship themselves with Gary/Green/Blue/the Rival Guy. I can understand his appeal - after his character development, he's clever, polite, and a Professor, too - but it doesn't necessarily mean he'd make a good husband.

I'm not aversed to the idea - and to be honest, there are wonderful, well-developed OCs who can pull of a decent OCxcanon ship like that. But Moira isn't supposed to be one of them.

So, don't expect any romance between these two: there are reasons why this comic is called 'Burning Bridges'. This is one of them. B|

I meant to get this page up by last night, but I literally fell asleep at my table. When I woke up at 7am, I rushed this all morning. It's 2pm now, I hope you're happy.

This page's been in the works for three-or-so weeks. My fingers ache so badly, and I'm running on really little sleep. Still, it feels so good to get this page off my chest.

Gary's been a trainer for a while before the comic begins, hence the fancy title and the Umbreon. Shadow's his starter, and (relatively calmer) foil - pretty much his Donahue.
